Kevin Breen, Content Director, and Kristofer Anderson, Principal Content Engineer, have been invited to talk at this year’s Black Hat. Both talks will take place on 8 August at the Arsenal. Make sure you don't miss them!
From 1pm at Arsenal Station 4, Kevin (@KevTheHermit) will discuss how you can use Yara to scan the treasure trove of information that is Pastebin. A self-confessed geek, Kevin has a passion for malware and memory forensics. He began his technical career in the British Army as a Telecommunications Radio Technician, repairing military radios, SatComs and Trunk Comms. It wasn't long before he discovered cybersecurity and found his current obsession, which inspired him to create his first open source tools. Nowadays, Kevin continues to give back to the community that helped him so much by researching and publishing tools and techniques. You can find out more about his talk here.
Kristofer (@Ziconius) will be giving a talk on Fudge and its uses as a collaborative C2 framework for purple teaming. You can catch him at 2:30pm at Arsenal Station 9. At Immersive Labs, Kris is responsible for designing and building lab environments, as well as internal tool development. He previously worked as a penetration tester and later became involved in red teaming, where he was exposed to all manner of weird and wonderful things. Ultimately, he found that his passion lay in Windows network exploitation. Read more about his talk here.
We’ll see you at booth 2229!
