Free and open defensive cyber labs

Like many, we are watching the events in Ukraine unfold with horror – especially as a business with friends and employees in the region.

One of the few positives has been seeing how governments and businesses have pulled together to help.

While Immersive Labs is not a large company, we feel we need to do what we can. We have a platform which can help individuals learn how to defend themselves against cyber threats. In a world of hybrid digital and physical warfare, this could be a valuable asset.

As such, we’ve updated our Community mode to provide free and open access to a range of labs teaching people inside organizations to defend against cyber attacks.

These labs cover a range of topics with the aim of rapidly building skills. Ranging from learning about Mitre ATT&CK and threat hunting models, to using tools such as Wireshark, Snort and Yara, the aim is to improve human capabilities to better withstand cyber attacks.

Being free and open, our hope is that anyone in the Ukraine who is a target can develop a better understanding of what is needed to defend themselves.

Whatever your situation, if you would like to learn to protect yourself, please feel free to complete the labs. There is no charge and it is open to all.
