About the role

We are looking for an Account Director to join us on a path of continued expansion.

The role will involve building the sales pipeline and support both the Immersive Labs Head of Sales, as well as the Senior Vice President for North America.

There is a global skills shortage in cyber security that is increasing cyber risk for businesses globally. Immersive Labs, an online gamified learning platform for security skills, is taking a global approach to tackle this risk. Immersive Labs was listed in Wired Magazine as one of the UK’s top 5 cyber companies changing the future of cyber security. Having experienced phenomenal success and growth in our first two years within large enterprises like Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and BAE Systems, we are expanding our sales force in North America. We are looking for Account Directors to sell the Immersive Labs platform across all levels of large enterprise companies, federal state and local government, and MSSP’s.

The Account Director role will require the successful candidate to be responsible for building their own sales pipeline and nurturing sales to achieve a quarterly target. The role will require a self-starter who is confident to work remotely, with as-needed travel across U.S. and Canada, and the occasional visit to our headquarters in Bristol, U.K. Applicants will need a background in delivering large strategic wins and achieving targets within the IT security space. The Account Director role will support both the Immersive Labs Head of Sales, as well as the Senior Vice President for North America.

Experience & Responsibilities

  • Identify and target our ideal customer profile including lead generation, nurturing and closing opportunities
  • Build relationships within existing enterprise customers and maximize sales potential through effective account management
  • Identify stakeholders both inside and outside of IT depths of large size Enterprise organizations and build a strategy to grow our relationship and use of our platform
  • Effectively manage leads generated from marketing and inside sales activities
  • Work with all parts of Immersive Labs to ensure customer needs are communicated, understood and acted upon to demonstrate responsiveness to customer
  • Keep CRM up to date with tasks and target prospect activity
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions
  • Create and manage proposals, suggest products to meet customer requirements for their projects, and ensure their orders are properly placed
  • Work effectively with existing channel partners to identify new opportunities
  • Accurately forecasting your monthly, quarterly and annual revenue streams
  • Maintain and expand the company’s CRM database
  • Where necessary, support of marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events
  • Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position
  • National and International travel will be required where necessary
  • Substantial direct and channel Enterprise Software selling experience within the IT security space to large enterprises
  • Knowledge of the security market with contacts which can be leveraged immediately
  • Success in qualifying opportunities involving multiple key decision makers
  • Knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques
  • Strong problem identification and objection resolution skills
  • Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers
  • Experience in building customer accounts and growing sales year-on-year
  • Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated, with high energy and an engaging level of enthusiasm
  • Ability to occasionally travel and attend sales events or exhibits
  • High level of integrity and work ethic
  • Comfortable working in the fast paced and dynamic environment
